As a Summer Analyst within the Commercial & Investment Banking program you will spend your summer working alongside the top professionals in the business to come up with solutions that shape the global economy. Our bankers are focused on longterm relationships and developing strategies that help our government institutional and corporate clients grow and innovate. We do this by providing sound advice helping them access funds and making connections all while helping clients manage the many risks in todays complex environment. Working here means joining a collaborative supportive team. We want your diverse perspective to help us innovate the next wave of products and solutions for our clients. Well give you what you need to succeed from training to mentoring from senior leaders to projects that engage all your skills. Our 9week program kicks off with three days of orientation and training giving you technical and practical skills. Top performers may receive a fulltime (Graduate) job offer for 2027.

Job responsibilities
- Analyze market data build detailed financial models and prepare client presentations for mergers and acquisitions leveraged buyouts and capital markets advisory
- Manage client transactions from pitch to close under the guidance of our senior leaders
- Develop innovative and creative ways to solve complex realworld business challenges
- Learn how we help clients and communities grow no matter their needs
- Build your professional network with mentors senior executives and others
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Excellent analytical quantitative and interpretative skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic collaborative work environment
- Being adaptable flexible and resilient
- Knowing your way around Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

To be eligible in this program:
- You must be enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program at a university located in Australia with an expected graduation date between April 2026 and December 2026. If you are in a Masters program it must be completed within two years of obtaining your Bachelors degree.
- You must be an Australian citizen New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident at the time of application.
