Job Description

We are looking to add a floor tech for our growing healthcare facility in Tyler TX!

Pay Rate $15/hr with weekly pay
Shift Monday Friday 5pm 1:30am / no weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean buff strip and wax floors in patient rooms hallways common areas and other facility spaces.
  • Perform routine floor care tasks including sweeping mopping and vacuuming.
  • Operate floor machines such as buffers scrubbers and vacuums according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Apply floor finishes and sealants to ensure highquality surface appearance and durability.
  • Ensure that floors are cleaned according to infection control and safety guidelines following all established protocols.
  • Respond to emergency floor cleaning requests as necessary (e.g. spills stains).
  • Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility by performing additional cleaning duties when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area including proper disposal of waste and maintaining tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in floor care custodial services or environmental services preferred.
  • Knowledge of floor cleaning equipment chemicals and maintenance techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
