Mission Command Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) Manager 1

Serco is seeking a Mission Command Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) Manager 1 to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Camp Dodge in Johnston Iowa. This position is contingent upon contract award budget and customer approval.

In this role you will:

• Manage the DTT of six warfighting functions (WFF) supported simultaneously and independently.
• Deploy as a WFFspecific DTT or multifunction team based on unittype training needs.
• Support live and constructive Mission Command training.
• Maintain currency with doctrine published by United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC).
• Ensure Training Unit Commanders (TUCs) are provided with the latest training Operations Orders (OPORDs) and Scenarios.
• Maintain DTT flexibility to provide modular training support to lowdensity branches such as chemical sustainment aviation engineers fires etc.
• Work cooperatively with TUCs to adjust OPORDs or scenarios to meet unit needs.
• Maintain familiarity with sitewide operations and act as deputy site lead in the absence of the site lead.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with a minimum of 12 years of military or U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) experience; or
• Masters degree with a minimum of 10 years of military or U.S. DoD experience.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in exercise planning using the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) process.
• Served as a staff primary at the Brigade or Division levels.
• Previous senior Army leadership experience with a training management background.
• Served as a Combat Arms Combat Support or Combat Service Support Officer with primary staff experience in at least one Warfighting Function at Battalion or higher level.
• Minimum of 6 years of combined staff experience within a specific Warfighting Function or 8 years of specialized MCTSP experience in a similar duty position.
• Recent experience working within the Army National Guard training support system or a similar system.
• Minimum of 2 years working with Warfighting Function area Army MISSION Command Information Systems.
• Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to correspond and communicate with senior military leaders.
• Ability to work onsite at Camp Dodge in Johnston Iowa.
• Ability to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time).

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Combat Training Center (CTC) experience.
• Previous Battalion or higher commander experience.
