Key job responsibilities
As an SDET you will/may:
Collaborate with experienced crossdisciplinary Amazonians to use technology to validate and verify software.
Invent refine and develop solutions to help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
Build tools and automation frameworks that enable QA Engineers to easily automate tests.
Troubleshoot research and resolve defects.
Create and manage bug reports and communicate with the team.

Currently working towards a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or other equivalent discipline with an expected graduation date between October 2023 September 2025 and/or graduated within the last 24 months.
Knowledge of at least one objectoriented language (e.g. Java Python).
Familiar with software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
Familiar with software test techniques and strategy.
Previous technical internship(s) in an SDET or other QA role.
Experience with test automation framework or tools (e.g. Junit TestNG Selenium).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to deal well with ambiguity.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
