The Opportunity
At Avidity were on an exciting growth journeyone where digital innovation fuels our R&D pipeline and strengthens operational excellence. As the Associate Director IT Business Partner for Human Resources youll play a critical role in aligning technology with business needs. Youll serve as a trusted advisor and solution architect for our HR team and related functions helping to design and implement digital tools and processes that support data integrity scalability and business impact.
This is a handson leadership role with influence across Aviditys enterprise systems where youll lead initiatives foster collaboration and ensure our digital roadmap reflects the evolving needs of our people.
What You Will Contribute
- Act as the strategic IT partner to HR representing their needs across Aviditys broader Digital Roadmap.
- Collaborate with HR and crossfunctional partners to identify challenges define priorities and implement technology solutions aligned with business goals.
- Facilitate business process discovery sessions to assess needs gather requirements and conduct gap analyses.
- Guide stakeholders in selecting and optimizing systems ensuring architecture security and integration standards are upheld.
- Lead and support the implementation and maintenance of key HR technologies including ADP ServiceNow and others.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors to deliver highquality solutions and support.
- Supervise external consultants and vendors ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Stay informed on industry trends in biotech/pharma and HR tech to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed to advance ITHR partnership success.
What We Seek
- Bachelors degree required; Masters in Information Technology or Business preferred.
- 8 years of progressive IT experience (or 6 with an MS) including 3 years supporting HR functions.
- Experience in the Life Sciences industry is required.
- Proven success in an IT business partner or consultancy role delivering solutions in collaboration with HR teams.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful system implementations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized selfmotivated and able to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with ADP and experience leading or supporting its implementation.
- Understanding of HR compliance controls including those related to SOX.
What We Will Provide To You
- The base salary range for this role is $185250 $204750. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience skillset internal equity and market factors.
