Position Title: Exhibit Lead (Oxen team) Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour Position Purpose: Coordinate scheduling of volunteers for the Oxen program in the Livestock department. This is a seasonal/temporary position not to exceed 122 days. Essential Functions: - Grooms and leads oxen daily for shows performed in the Livestock showing.
- Provides guidance to other Exhibit Attendants in the execution of their job duties.
- During events safeguards exhibits and watches building entrances and exits.
- Provides information about the exhibit to the public and answers questions about the exhibit the event and the property.
- Some cleaning and feeding duties.
- May clean a variety of exhibit structures and props prepares them for use installs them where instructed and dismantles them at the end of an event.

- Knowledge and experience working with Centennial Farm Oxen.
- Experience working with volunteers.
- Previous experience with public speaking.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills a must.
- Must be available to work all 23 days of the annual OC Fair.
Special Qualifications: - Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs.
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs. necessary
Preferences: - Some experience leading or guiding the work of others strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with the layout and facilities of the OC Fair & Event Center highly preferred.
