Job Description

Vice President of Engineering

Are you a visionary engineering leader with a passion for innovation in HVAC and chiller systems Do you thrive in a fastpaced environment and possess the strategic acumen to drive technical excellence If so we invite you to join our dynamic team!

As the Vice President of Engineering you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our product development. You will provide technical leadership develop and implement our engineering strategy and oversee the entire engineering department. Your expertise will ensure the successful design and implementation of our cuttingedge HVAC and chiller solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a team that is developing new technologies and maintaining our position as an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the companys engineering strategy aligning it with overarching business objectives.
  • Lead mentor and manage a talented team of engineers including project managers designers and technical staff.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of engineering projects from initial conceptualization through final design and installation.
  • Develop and manage the engineering departments budget encompassing personnel costs capital equipment and software.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC systems encompassing design installation and maintenance best practices.
  • Identify evaluate and champion new technologies to drive product innovation and enhance efficiency ensuring our continued industry leadership.
  • Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including sales marketing and operations to ensure seamless product development and implementation.
  • Ensure all engineering projects adhere to relevant safety regulations environmental standards and industry codes.
  • Provide regular and insightful reports on the engineering departments performance to the CEO board and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 1015 years of progressive leadership experience within an engineering environment.
  • Strong business acumen with a proven ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional presentation communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and build relationships at all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
  • Highly selfmotivated with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic fastpaced setting.
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with a track record of achieving positive outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
