Position at Pilgrims

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties are included and other duties may be assigned as production demands may require.

Weighs in ingredient trucks and sends them to the proper pit to unload and then reweighs them.

Unloads rail cars of corn and soy. Sometimes a sledge hammer has to be used to get it to fall.

Drives the shuttle wagon to push and pull rail cars to and from the rail pits to unload. This could be one or up to 6 cars at a time.

Transfers corn and soy from one side of the receiving area to the other side into the tanks closest to the mill whenever needed.

Dayshift receiver does an inventory of mill ingredients in the mornings to keep up with what is used from day to day.

Gets samples of ingredients in whirl pack bags to send to lab.

Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
