The Alaska P line of PCIe Gen 6 and CXL 3 retimers is built on a 10year history of Marvell PAM4 technology leadership. Purposebuilt to scale data center compute fabrics inside accelerated servers generalpurpose servers CXL systems and disaggregated infrastructure the Alaska P PCIe retimer line features bestinclass SerDes performance ultralow power dissipation low latency and a rich feature set including advanced diagnostics and telemetry.What You Can Expect
In this role you will leverage your knowledge in analog/mixed signal design during postsilicon validation with a focus on electrical characterization and performance verification to ensure the integrity of our data communication solutions
In this role you will:
Characterize and validate PCIe high speed SerDes IPs and ICs with lab instruments such as oscilloscope spectrum analyzer signal generator network analyzer etc.
Design and develop system hardware and software for electrical characterization functional validation and performance analysis.
Create customizable hardware reference design to ensure consistent and reliable data communication solutions.
Review industrial standards propose test methodologies and create validation plan.
Document validation result and report issues.
Work with analog digital and DSP design teams on issue investigation performance improvement and feature enhancement.
Provide technical support to other functional groups such as production qualification and application engineering teams to resolve customer and production related issues.
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5 years of related professional Masters degree and/or PhD in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3 years of experience.
Strong experience in electrical engineering field particularly in analog and mixedsignal design.
Experience in high speed SERDES electrical characterization / electrical compliance testing.
Hands on experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes Function Generator Logic Analyzer Spectrum Analyzer etc.
Indepth knowledge and working experience of PCIe and high speed SerDes technologies is preferred.
Proficiency in programming language Python preferred.
Clear logic thinking and excellent problemsolving skill.
Strong verbal/written communication and documentation skill.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
$ per annumThe successful candidates starting base pay will be determined based on jobrelated skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
