Job Description
Allstaff Employment is looking for production associates for product assembly for an established manufacturer in Camden. Shift schedule: MondayFriday 6:30 AM TO 3:00 PM Overtime as needed. This is a temp to hire position with opportunity for growth and a generous benefits package for converted employees.
Position Summary:
Perform repetitive work at a workstation on an assembly/fabrication line. Be willing and able to cross train in other areas of operation as needed.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Performs any productiontype functions required
- Uses hand and/or power tools to perform production operations
- May perform packing and/or unpacking functions
- May operate automated equipment to perform production functions
- Crosschecks quality and/or performs quality checks at their workstation
- Performs production functions in a timely manner
- Maintain work safety
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Have the ability to understand and carry out detailed oral or written instructions.
- Have good problemsolving skills.
- While performing the duties of their job the employee is required to stand for extended hours.
- The employee may be required to walk reach stoop kneel and crouch.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move 1020 lbs.
Requirements:
- Job Rotation within your zone
- Preventative Maintenance on your machines.
- Understanding and knowledge of workstation standard work and/or machines to minimize downtime and quality issues.
- Know how to practice 5S process for your workstation and area.
