Job Description
Infosys is seeking an Oracle DBA.This positions primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day to day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; build applications interface between applications understand data security retention and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently and be able to recommend appropriate solutions. The chosen candidate should contribute to technologyspecific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment including reliability costeffectiveness performance data integrity maintainability and scalability. The chosen candidate will contribute expertise on significant application components program languages databases operating systems etc. and guide/mentor the team during the build and test phases.
Required Qualifications:

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of Relevant Information Technology experience
- Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent will consider work experience in lieu of a degree
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofRichardson TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
- Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employerbased visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time
- Experience in Oracle Goldengate
- Experience in Oracle DBA
- Experience in Oracle PL/SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong SQL skills in Oracle DB
- Good knowledge of Performance tuning
- Good to have data modelling and data mapping skills
- Good to have Unix Shell scripting skills
- Good to have ETL knowledge Data stage Informatica.
- Good to have any data analysis related experience.
- Strong communication and Analytical skills
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- At least 4 years of experience in software design development and support working in SQL
