Overview

Group 1 Automotive a Fortune 250 automotive retailer is a leading operator in the automotive retailing industry. As part of our continued growth we are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our marketing department as a Senior Manager Strategic Marketing for Parts & Services. This role is based at our corporate headquarters in Houston TX and requires working onsite.

The Senior Manager Strategic Marketing for Parts & Services is responsible for developing and executing innovative datadriven marketing strategies to increase revenue and profitability across dealership parts and service departments and collision centers. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of automotive parts & services a forwardthinking approach to marketing and strong collaboration with leadership to align marketing initiatives with the companys overall business objectives. The Parts & Services Strategic Marketing Manager will work closely with Vice President of Parts & Services National and Regional Directors and dealerships to ensure that marketing efforts drive value enhance customer engagement and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns by strategically aligning offers segmented audiences and creative across all marketing channels to strengthen competitiveness in the marketplace and deliver exceptional value.
  • Lead the creation and execution of longterm growth opportunities in vehicle maintenance and repairs to expand our customer lifecycle program in parts & services.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive tracking framework for all manufacturer programs direct mail companies email providers social media or digital outlets and any other customer communication platform to drive consistency competitive positioning and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and lead implementations for various marketing projects and initiatives with vendor partners dealer manufacturer partners dealerships software vendors and the parts & services team. This includes but not limited to; marketing calendars dealership customer events declined service service intervals metro marketing etc.
  • Manage and coordinate digital marketing efforts to optimize parts & services digital presence. This includes organic search paid search social media platforms paid digital media service websites and any other digital marketing efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree plus 8 years of experience in automotive marketing with an indepth knowledge of automotive parts & services operations.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. Experience in leading largescale national initiatives process optimization efforts and delivering impactful solutions.
  • Proven leadership experience including supervising and developing a team.
  • Ability and communication skills to influence change and lead largescale national initiatives process optimization efforts and deliver impactful solutions tailored for all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems and parts & services software platforms.
  • Experience working with multiple systems and ability to analyze parts & services data from multiple dealership software systems.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound and logical judgment calls.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
