Summary: Lead and optimize technology operations in a distributed IT environment ensuring seamless alignment with institutional goals. From policy development to asset management and user support this role drives efficiency compliance and best practices. Collaborate with central IT teams to enhance service delivery troubleshoot issues and foster continuous innovation.
Classification Summary:
Performs project coordination duties relevant to problems associated with existing systems and processes. Ensures that all schedules are effectively communicated to meet required organizational milestones. Drafts reviews finalizes and submits project status reports and ensures that documentation are complete. Completes technical duties related to operating and administering projects that affect the status and successful completion of various organizational activities .
Classification Standard Duties:
Resolves problems in areas of systems applications and equipment through comprehensive review and planning. Ensures that all schedules are effectively communicated to meet required organizational milestones. Drafts reviews finalizes and submits project status reports and ensures that documentation is complete. Completes technical duties related to operating and administrative projects that affect the status and successful completion of various organizational activities. Conducts final walk through and turnover processes. May be required to coordinate with a few technicians or others who assist in specific assignments. Performs miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned.
Required Education Experience Certification/License Equivalency

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Provides leadership in managing technology within a distributed IT environment by supporting the effective use maintenance and alignment of technology resources with institutional goals. Develops and implements unitlevel technology policies procedures and standards to ensure compliance with broader IT governance and cybersecurity requirements. Oversees daily technology operations including asset deployment inventory management and user support while promoting best practices in technology use. Collaborates closely with central IT teams to ensure cohesive service delivery troubleshoot escalated issues and participate in strategic planning efforts. Delivers training develops user documentation and supports technology adoption to enhance staff proficiency and user experience. Assists with technology planning budgeting and procurement activities ensuring compliance with institutional processes. Maintains records of technology activities and regularly evaluates processes for continuous improvement innovation and alignment with organizational needs.
