Job Description
Pay Rate: $16.80 per hour
Shift Hours: 7am 3pm OT
(Additional $.20 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am4:59am)
Manually clean lining off gizzards with a roller machine. Work is accomplished on a stationary table between two production lines. Incumbent acts as quality controller and gizzard machine monitor for all gizzards produced.
- Gizzards are pumped onto table where they are sorted by production classification.
- Gizzards with peel are peeled on mechanical rollers. Whole gizzards are placed off to the side to be refed through the machines.
- Clean gizzards are then dropped down the chute.
- Rotate to liver and hearts.
Qualifications :
- Able to do basic math counting and telling of time.
- Ability to understand and communicate in English. Able to follow instructions both verbal and demonstrated.
- Previous production type experience preferred. Must be able to stand at work station and other positions as assigned.
- Good handeye coordination. Ability to make quick quality judgement decisions within the levels of assigned duties.
- Must be able to work with wet hands throughout the shift.
