Telia Company Group Treasury is a central function who coordinates financial pension and insurance activities within the group. The function is responsible for securing the Groups external funding and managing all financial risks. Group Treasury also supports the business units in all treasury related matters. As Telia has a very large debt portfolio we put great emphasis on interest rate risk management and are now looking to strengthen this area with a new role.

The new Head of Treasury Front Office & Control will play a key role as responsible for interest rate risk strategies and for ensuring efficient processes from strategy and execution in financial markets to risk control and treasury reporting. We believe you will lead and develop this area together with the teams and take us to the next level.

Key responsibilities

In this role you will be overall responsible for financial risk management strategies and ensure robust and efficient processes within Front Office and Treasury Control. You will lead two teams of specialists Front Office and Treasury Control with five team members in total. The role reports to Head of Treasury and the position is located at Telia Headquarters in Solna.

The teams key responsibilities include:

• Financial risk management: Develop and implement interest rate management strategies and FX hedge processes
• Internal bank and liquidity management: Support business units with hedging strategies and internal funding. Efficient management of excess liquidity
• Risk Control: Oversee financial risk measures such as mandates duration fxhedges and credit risk
• Financial planning & analysis: Reporting on treasuryrelated items planning budgets and forecasting
• System support and development: System expert and process owner of Wallstreet Suite and OmniFi ensure efficiency and minimize operational risks. Support Group Treasury with projects within digitalization and automation.

Is this you
In this role you will have ownership of our interest rate risk strategies and lead the development of efficient and robust treasury processes. Were looking for someone with broad and extensive experience from Corporate or Bank Treasury and a solid understanding of interest rate risk management and strategies. You also have good understanding of risk control methods and processes. Strong leadership capabilities are essential you thrive when leading and developing highperforming teams in a collaborative and resultsoriented environment.

We expect you to have proficiency in financial IT systems like Bloomberg and WallStreet Suite or similar along with excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English. A university degree in finance or a related field is required. Finally to succeed in this role you bring a strategic mindset strong analytical skills and a teamoriented collaborative approach.
