Key Responsibilities:
Embrace a Generalist Role: Gain comprehensive exposure to various HR functions balancing learning with responsibility and contributing meaningfully to each project. Among other HR domains you will contribute and learn about the HR Processes and simplification Internship Program Talent Development & Employer Branding Employee Relations and Employee Engagement:
- Internship Program & Onboarding: Lead relationship and contracting with business schools. Help prepare onboarding materials coordinate new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new interns. Ensure all intern tutors are educated on program processes and ensure excellent intern program experience.
- Employee Relations: Support the HR team in addressing employee inquiries maintaining employee records and assisting with employee engagement initiatives.
- HR Administration: Assist with maintaining HR databases updating employee information and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Help organize training sessions track employee participation and gather feedback on training programs.
- HR Projects: Participate in various HR projects and initiatives providing support and contributing ideas to improve HR processes and programs.
- Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations and help with the preparation of HR reports and documentation.
- Inclusion: support DEI programs and the activities of local People Business Resource Groups (PBRGs) and very specifically the Gender equity plan.
- Data Analytics: Analyze data related to workforce talent moves and demographics employee engagement and DEI metrics

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (Psychology Law Business Administration) with interest in People and Culture matters.
- Educational Partnership: Ability to sign an agreement (masters degree) with an educational institution for internship ideally on a fulltime basis.
- Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication abilities in both English and Spanish.

Onsite Protocol
BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes siteessential sitebydesign fieldbased and remotebydesign jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:
Siteessential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Sitebydesign roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration innovation productivity and a positive Company culture. For fieldbased and remotebydesign roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
