Job Description
Are you motivated to work everyday with the goal of helping little minds to develop and enrich their growth If so we are looking for you to join our team at Little Willows by Kids & Company.
We currently have over 150 childcares centres across Canada & the USA and are constantly expanding; come and grow within the company!
Please note we are currently looking to fill a parttime hours school age position. From 2:00 5:30 pm Monday Friday and full days on Pro D Days and Breaks.
Location Address: Little Willows Whonnockth Ave Maple Ridge
Responsibilities:
- Maintain documentation reporting and record keeping
- Implement a Reggio Emilia approach to learning
- Support childrens emotional physical or behavioural well being; while helping to develop their social emotional cognitive and physical skills
- Maintain attendance and health and safety checks
- Work with professionals such as Speech Therapists Occupational Therapists and Early Interventionists as necessary
- Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
- Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops
Specifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with children parents and coworkers.
- Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation reporting and classroom operations
- Strong collaborator and team player
- Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom
- Strong problemsolving skills
Qualifications:
- Valid British Columbia RA or ECEA License
- Criminal Record Check
- Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR
- Immunizations up to date
- Ability to push pull and lift up to 45 pounds
