Fully remote work may be considered for the right candidate however preference is for candidates able to work hybrid at our Edmonton or Vancouver office.

The Role
As a Solution Architect at Elantis youll be responsible for delivering solutions based on Microsoft Modern Work capabilities:
- Design endtoend Modern Work solutions using Microsoft 365 including SharePoint Online Teams Exchange Online Viva and OneDrive.
- Guide organizations through the transition from legacy systems to Modern Work solutions ensuring minimal disruption.
- Lead or support migrations from onpremises or thirdparty platforms to Microsoft 365 (e.g. OpenText migrations to SharePoint)
- Integrate Microsoft 365 security features such as Microsoft Defender Purview Conditional Access and data loss prevention (DLP).
- Integrate third party applications and tools into SharePoint.
- Support identity and access management strategies using Azure Active Directory.
- Define and implement governance models for Microsoft 365 services including information architecture lifecycle management and user adoption policies.
- Develop scalable secure and usercentric architectures aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements identify pain points and align technology solutions with strategic objectives.
- Lead workshops discovery sessions and technical assessments.
- Produce detailed design documentation runbooks and user guides.
- Conduct handover and training sessions for administrators and support teams.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the project lifecyclefrom planning and design to implementation and support.
- Serve as the technical escalation point for Modern Work initiatives.
- Ensure clients compliance with industry standards best practices data protection regulations and organizational policies.
- Stay current with Microsoft roadmap updates emerging features and best practices to continuously optimize Modern Work environments.
- Recommend improvements and enhancements to drive user productivity and collaboration.
On the technical side here are some of the skills and experience were looking for:
- Minimum of five years of clientfacing project delivery experience.
- Experience in consulting roles.
- Experience managing teams.
- Experience implementing Microsoft 365 Modern Work solutions particularly SharePoint and Purview.
- Experience in migrations from SharePoint onpremise to SharePoint Online and from other legacy platforms to SharePoint Online.
- Experience developing and modifying PowerShell scripts.
- Experience working with databases and APIs.
- Postsecondary education in a technology related field or equivalent experience.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Articulate excellent communication skills.
- Able to confidently advise clients on solutions.
- Able to context switch and manage multiple client commitments.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking ability.
- Able to manage billable time and work efficiently.
- Able to work with project managers and technical teams to complete projects on time and on budget.
