The role
Youll play a key leadership role in keeping the Botanic Gardens and surrounding Trust Lands safe secure and running smoothly. Based at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney youll oversee the daytoday operations of Ranger Services across all sitesincluding Mt Annan and Mt Tomahand support a team of Site Coordinators in delivering compliant highquality and consistent safety and security services. That includes everything from overseeing contracts security systems and CCTV to providing sound advice on legislation regulation and compliance.
Youll work closely with external providers and agencies like NSW Police Revenue NSW and Service NSW while managing Rangers reviewing performance interpreting legislation and ensuring our rules are followed. Your sharp judgment calm leadership and ability to interpret policies and regulations will be key to balancing operational needs with visitor safety asset protection and regulatory compliance across a complex highprofile portfolio.
