In this position you will engage in entrylevel professional duties focused on the care treatment and rehabilitation of individuals with drug and alcohol dependencies at our facility. Responsibilities include working closely with inmates patients or residents to develop personalized treatment and recovery plans. Under supervision you will conduct oneonone treatment sessions provide professional counseling and make appropriate referrals. Assigned group therapy sessions will be led in accordance with applicable regulations along with facilitating community meetings encounter groups and other therapeutic activities. The role also involves learning to apply progressive disciplinary strategies to address behavioral issues. Additional duties include conducting substance abuse group sessions for specialized units managing program waiting lists and forming treatment groups as needed across all drug and alcohol programs.
