DescriptionThe Communication Technical Officer will support the work of NRC Ukraines Country Office in the
implementation of NRCs internal and external communication initiatives. In particular they will
support the collecting drafting and editing of communication materials and ensuring the daytoday
implementation of the communications function in the Country Office.

What you will do:
Generic responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of NRC Ukraines Communications plan.
- Undertake regular travel to NRC program locations to gather content relating to NRC
programs and support program staff with communicationsrelated activities. - Support programs teams and partners with the development of visibility materials ensuring
these are developed in compliance with NRC and donor guidelines. - Lead the development and management of NRC Ukraines social media outputs.
- Promote and share ideas for improvement of the communication function.
- Any other duties that will be assigned by Advocacy Manager and the Communication
coordinator. - Compliance and adherence to NRC policies guidance and procedures.
Specific responsibilities
- Visit NRC field sites to collect communications materials for internal and external use and
support NRCs programs and partners in content gathering and other communications
activities. - Collect and upload quality photos video social media content and other materials for use in
traditional and social media. - Work efficiently with programs teams and partners to develop visibility materials and other
communications products that comply with NRC and donor guidelines. - Support the drafting and developing of recurrent communications products infographics or
other visual materials as required. - Collect and draft materials for writing media and web stories profiling the humanitarian
situation in areas of operations. - Other tasks as requested by the Advocacy Manager and the Communication coordinator.

- Min 3 years of experience from working as a communication public information and media
specialist in a humanitarian/recovery context would be an advantage - Higher education in a relevant subject or equivalent field experience
- Proficient knowledge of Ukrainian and Russian languages
- Fluency in English both written and verbal
- Proactive approach and willingness to learn
