For our client we are currently looking for an experienced
Operational Excellence Coordinator Rolling Mill.The ideal candidate will bring deep operational knowledge of hot/cold rolling processes strong analytical capabilities and a track record in driving continuous improvement and performance optimization in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:- Drive performance improvements in rolling mill operations (hot/cold rolling reheat furnace finishing lines).
- Implement PMO principles and loss elimination strategies.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and variability in rolling operations.
- Facilitate continuous improvement workshops with operations planning and maintenance teams.
- Support scheduling optimization scrap reduction and line speed improvements.
- Promote safety culture through structured problemsolving and standardized work.
- Assist in operator training SOP development and skills standardization
Requirements:- 3 years of proven experience in production/operations ideally within the steel or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Masters degree in Mechanical Metallurgical Industrial Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong analytical mindset with high technological awareness; ability to interpret complex process data.
- Demonstrated experience with project management process standardization and structured improvement methodologies (e.g. PMO Lean Six Sigma).
- Familiarity with quality management systems and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively engage with operators engineers and senior management.
- Strong problemsolving capabilities with the ability to assess situations quickly and implement corrective actions.
- Fluency in both Polish and English (mandatory).
Preferred skills:- High integrity honesty and a strong sense of ethical responsibility.
- Proven ability to foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment across departments.
- Experience in developing training standards and contributing to skill standardization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of rolling process calibration and maintenance coordination.
