Profile Requirements:

  • Experience
  • 3 years experience in community management or moderation preferably on Telegram or similar social platforms with a strong understanding of group dynamics.
  • Platform Knowledge
  • Indepth knowledge of Telegram features such as bots message filtering admin tools and user permissions to efficiently manage group interactions.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Familiarity with content policies community guidelines and online safety protocols to ensure compliance and maintain a respectful environment.
  • Communication Skills
  • Excellent written communication and conflictresolution skills with the ability to handle user concerns disputes and rule enforcement professionally.
  • Content Moderation
  • Strong ability to detect and manage spam scams and inappropriate content taking quick action to prevent disruptions and protect the community.
  • Technical Proficiency
  • Techsavvy with problemsolving skills capable of troubleshooting issues related to moderation bots user reports and content management.
  • Availability
  • Flexibility and availability to monitor and moderate discussions regularly including during peak engagement times or urgent situations.

Core responsibilities:

  • Message & Content Review
  • Monitor and review messages media and user activity within the group to ensure all interactions align with community guidelines and platform policies.
  • Rule Enforcement
  • Identify and remove inappropriate offensive spam or harmful content taking swift action against users who violate rules through warnings mutes or bans when necessary.
  • User Support
  • Respond to user inquiries complaints and reports professionally and promptly addressing concerns while maintaining a fair and respectful approach.
  • Moderation Tools
  • Utilize and maintain moderation tools such as bots filters and automated responses to streamline content management and improve efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with admins and fellow moderators to update group rules improve moderation strategies and adapt to evolving community needs.
  • Security Monitoring
  • Monitor for potential security threats scams phishing attempts and other harmful activities reporting serious incidents to platform support or higher authorities if required.
  • Community Engagement
  • Foster a positive and engaging community atmosphere by encouraging healthy discussions enforcing rules fairly and preventing conflicts from escalating.
