Construction Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of construction activities on EPC projects including civil mechanical electrical and instrumentation works across various sites.
Execution Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive construction execution plans schedules and resource allocation strategies that align with project objectives.
CrossFunctional Coordination: Work seamlessly with engineering procurement and project management teams to ensure integrated project delivery and resolve interdisciplinary issues.
Team & Vendor Management: Supervise site personnel subcontractors and vendors ensuring adherence to project specifications timelines and safety standards.
Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain high standards of workmanship that meet both companies and client expectations.
Risk Mitigation: Monitor project progress identify potential risks and implement corrective actions to prevent delays or costs overruns.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure all construction activities comply with Nigerian Content Development (NCDMB) regulations and local labor laws.
Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive progress reports site documentation and project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Safety Leadership: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by implementing HSE policies and procedures across all construction sites.
Project Success: Your leadership directly impacts the timely and costeffective completion of critical infrastructure projects.
Safety Excellence: Youll create and maintain safe working environments that protect personnel and assets in challenging conditions.
Quality Assurance: Your oversight ensures that construction quality meets international standards while satisfying local requirements.
Minimum 8 years of construction management experience in the EPC industry preferably in oil & gas projects.
Experienced in Nigerian regulatory frameworks and environmental standards.
A proven leader with experience working with international EPC contractors or joint ventures.
A detailoriented professional comfortable working in remote project locations across Nigeria.
Bachelors degree in Civil Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
COREN registration and membership in NSE or relevant professional body.
PMP or PRINCE2 certification (advantageous).
Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6 MS Project) and construction software (AutoCAD Navisworks).
Strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
Managing multiple construction disciplines in complex project environments.
Balancing quality requirements with schedule constraints and budget limitations.
