Our client is a transaction finance company that provides short term financing options to Trade/Supply Chain Businesses and Allied Enterprises/Entities in Nigeria. Due to expansion they are in need of a Growth Officer.
Location: Abeokuta and Abia
Job Responsibilities
- Acquire new merchants & manage existing merchant transactions (Drawdown & Repayment)
- Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue
- Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
- Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants
- Work closely with internal teams including Risk & Compliance Retention Technical Support and Product to ensure a seamless user experience
- Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Communications or related field is an added advantage
- At least 2 years of experience in sales business development or a similar role
- Experience in the transaction finance industry is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Fluency in local language relevant to the location of the job (YorubaAbeokuta and IgboAbia)
