Job Description

Our IT team partners with the business to support technology solutions that address current challenges and future needs of the enterprise to give digital edge to IQEQ clients. We are embarking on an exciting integration programme which will see us leverage the features of the Office365 stack as we migrate services to the cloud.

The Senior IT Officer will have a strong background in End User and Executive Support be customer focused and have a good knowledge of End User hardware and collaboration tools. Along with this he will be wellversed in backend Infrastructure technology to handle advanced troubleshooting and join escalation calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT Infrastructure: Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of computer hardware software and networks.
  • Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to users troubleshoot complex IT issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Network Management: Monitor and manage network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and VPNs.
  • Security: Implement and enforce IT security measures to protect systems from threats and ensure data integrity.
  • Project Management: Lead IT projects including system upgrades migrations and new installations.
  • Policy Development: Develop and enforce IT policies procedures and standards to ensure compliance and security.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems configurations and procedures.
  • Presentation Preparation: Create and deliver presentations to communicate IT strategies project updates and technical information to stakeholders and team members.

Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 4 years proven experience in IT support or administration with a strong technical background.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in managing computer hardware software and networks.
    • Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Knowledge of network protocols security principles and best practices.
    • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows Linux and macOS.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
    • Presentation skills to effectively convey technical information.
    • Certifications: Certifications such as CompTIA A Network or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Administrator
