STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT:

Strategic development of systems procedures plans to meet production/ maintenance target by effective utilization of equipment manpower & other resources.

  • Execution of PM & Calibration activities of equipment in the area.
  • Improvisation of SOPs & SMPs.
  • Lead & encourage for innovative programs and special projects.
  • Preparation of SWI /HIRA for all the activities involved in the area.
  • Create better synergy between cross functional departments like production mechanical and technical services for improving productivity quality & customer service standards.

OPERATION & MAINTENANCE:

Implementation of approved operating Plan for Operation & Maintenance to meet plant targets.

  • Timely Managing resources for implementation of PM & CBM
  • Cross functional supports across all sections
  • Implementation of practices on reliability Maintenance
  • Ensuring implementation of IMS and 5S systems
  • Mentoring the team for improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness
  • Reduce breakdown hours by analysis RCA and Kaizen
  • Ensure minimum response time to customers.
  • Optimize MTTR and MTBF.

SPARE PARTS MANAGEMENT:

  • Ensure availability of spares on timely basis
  • Vendor development
  • Spare parts development
  • Indigenization of imported spares.
  • Develop plan for Safe storage of spares

PLANNING BUDGETING & COST CONTROL:

  • Forecasting engineering requirements &determining annual budgets by effectively preparing ZBB of our area.
  • Controlling the expenditures by optimizing resources.
  • Updating and modifying requirements and solutions preparing cost estimates and budgets.
  • Ensure minimum cost of operation and maintenance.

TEAM BUILDING PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT AND SUCCESSION PLAN:

  • Development of skill matrix and identification gaps of the manpower.
  • Ensuring implementation on training needs by conducting in house and external trainings.
  • KRA development Performance appraisal & feedback to subordinates.
  • Identify potential employees and mentor them to develop succession line.
  • Communicate knowledge sharing and prepare employees about change

HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT:

  • Monitor review and ensure implementation of safety EHS and Quality systems.
  • Ensure statutory compliances.
  • Facilitate the implementation of IMS ISO OHSAS.
  • Guide the departmental EHS committee members to achieve zero incident.
  • Preparation of Hazard & risk assessment and Root cause analysis of incidents

STATUTORY APPROVAL & MIS:

  • Development of management information system such as to represent the operational trends and finding out focus areas for developments.
