Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Clinical Psychologist for our locations in Sangli and Satara within the Podar Education Network. The ideal candidate will be a fresher working fulltime in our Satara branch. This role is crucial in providing psychological support and using clinical expertise to foster the wellbeing of our students. If you have a foundational degree in psychology and a passion for counseling this is the perfect role for you.
Qualifications and Skills
- MA in Psychology or MSc in Psychology for a wellrounded understanding of psychological principles and practices.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques to effectively address the varied needs of students.
- Possess counselor skills (Mandatory skill) to guide students through emotional and psychological challenges.
- Expertise in Clinical Psychology (Mandatory skill) to diagnose and treat students mental and emotional issues.
- Strong foundation in psychology (Mandatory skill) to provide comprehensive assessment and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and listening skills to facilitate open and effective dialogue with students.
- Ability to develop tailored treatment programs based on individual student assessments.
- Empathy and patience to support and motivate students in a sensitive and constructive manner.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnoses of students to identify mental health issues.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs and circumstances.
- Provide counseling sessions to support students dealing with a range of issues including stress anxiety and depression.
- Collaborate with teachers staff and parents to enhance student learning experiences and outcomes.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic strategies to ensure effective outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars to promote mental health awareness within the school community.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and treatment plans while ensuring confidentiality.
- Stay updated with the latest in psychological research and treatment methodologies to continuously improve service delivery.
