Spot now part of Flexera is a leading technology company specializing in cloudbased solutions. We are committed to delivering innovative software solutions to our clients. As we continue to expand our cloud services we are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative team.
As a Software engineer you will play a key role in designing developing and maintaining Spots and Flexeras Core Platform applications using Java Go and related technologies. You will work closely with technology leaders and a team of experienced developers contributing to the entire software development lifecyclefrom requirements gathering to deployment and support. This is an exciting opportunity to gain handson experience in cloudbased development while being part of a talented and fun team.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior developers architects and project stakeholders to understand software requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design develop and maintain Spot Flexera Core Platform applications using Java Go and related technologies adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Perform unit testing debugging and troubleshooting of software applications to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis design implementation testing deployment and support.
Qualifications
Required:
35 years of software development experience.
Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Strong understanding of objectoriented programming principles and concepts.
Proficiency in Java Go or C# programming languages and related frameworks (e.g. Spring Hibernate).
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred:
Experience with multitenancy security and identity solutions with a focus on authentication and authorization methodologies.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud and their services.
Handson experience with Go (Golang) development.
Familiarity with cloudbased development including microservices architecture.
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL).
