As a SemiSenior Accountant you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of compliance and advisory services to a portfolio of sole traders partnerships and limited companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare yearend accounts (FRS 102 1A and FRS 105) management accounts and VAT returns
Assist with corporation tax and selfassessment tax returns
Complete bookkeeping CIS returns payroll and pension submissions as needed
Maintain working papers and ensure reconciliations are accurate
Support clients with cloud software and digital recordkeeping
Deliver advisory services such as budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Keep up to date with UK accounting and tax regulations
ACA / ACCA / AAT partqualified or newly qualified
2 3 years of experience within UK accountancy practice
Confident preparing accounts for SMEs freelancers and limited companies
Familiar with cloud accounting software (Xero QuickBooks Dext)
Excellent communication and time management skills
Proactive techsavvy and able to work independently
Keen to grow with the firm and embrace modern accounting practices
4day working week with fulltime pay
