About your next Challenge as a Production Planner:

The Production Planning Specialist is responsible for planning the production of the various projects within their scope. The Production Planning Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring coordination between the various departments in order to obtain components parts technical and other documentation on time to meet the schedule. In addition they will act as liaison between operations and the customer representative.

What will you do:

• Analyze customer requirements initiate internal production orders and monitor activities through to delivery;
• Followup with various departments to obtain missing elements impacting the project (Engineering Methods QC Programs);
• Track all manufacturing / purchasing process inputs to meet 100% of customer orders;
• Establish a manufacturing schedule analyze and manage the impact of changes;
• Analyze MRP system exception messages and take appropriate action;
• Provide support to production employees prioritization various followups issue material etc.;
• Review and maintain planning parameters related in the different systems to its product folio in order to meet service level objectives;
• Make suggestions to reduce the risk of shortages and inventory levels;
• Generate and prepare performance measurement reports on project status missing parts status service levels;
• Recommend the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving and/or standardizing processes in its sector;
• Attend several meetings; and
• All other related tasks.

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Professional degree in operations management or equivalent and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in production and/or material planning or;
• Bachelors degree in operations management or equivalent and a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in production and/or materials planning;
• Knowledge of SAP;
• Knowledge of MS Project and Power BI is an asset;
• Excellent analytical and communication skills in both French and English;
• Teamwork leadership availability flexibility attention to detail stress management and customer service are assets.
• The knowledge of the Englishlanguage other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

• Must be eligible for registration with theControlled Goods Program;
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2 / NATO Secretsecurity clearance.
• Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
