Job Description

At Draxton Teruel our foundry plant located in Utrillas we are looking to hire a Casting Development Engineer.

In this position you will be responsible for ensuring the industrialization of the product and tooling guaranteeing its technical feasibility and meeting customer objectives. This position reports to the Plant Engineer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate processes and tooling from the concept phase.
  • Monitor the construction shipping and technical validation of tooling.
  • Provide feedback to suppliers regarding tooling performance and compliance.
  • Prepare and release internal control documentation.
  • Lead the product industrialization process by conducting tests and defining parameters in coordination with other departments.
  • Take technical responsibility for the production of prototypes and first samples.
  • Analyze test results and lead corrective or improvement actions.
  • Share results with Product Engineering to enhance the process.
  • Ensure compliance with technical parameters for production handover.
  • Document lessons learned and support their implementation on the production floor.


What are we looking for

  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in production engineering.
  • English is a plus especially in technical environments.

  • Flexible start time from Monday to Thursday (between 8:00 and 9:30 a.m.) with departure from 4:30 p.m.
  • Short Fridays: work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to start your weekend early.
  • Summer working hours: from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from July 22 to August 16.
  • 30 calendar days of vacation per year.
  • Flexible compensation options (meal vouchers childcare etc.).
