David Kennedy Recruitment is working with global financial market platform company who is looking to hire a Risk Manager.
Position: Risk Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop implement and oversee the organizations risk management framework policies and procedures
- Identify evaluate monitor and report various types of risks including operational market credit liquidity and compliance risks
- Conduct regular risk assessments audits and stress testing to evaluate the firms risk exposure
- Prepare and deliver detailed risk reports for regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and internal governance policies
- Work closely with executive leadership to assess the companys risk profile and recommend improvements
- Coordinate with internal departments to promote risk awareness and integrate risk considerations into decisionmaking processes
- Support the launch of new products or services by assessing potential risk impacts
- Collaborate with compliance audit and antifinancial crime functions to maintain a cohesive risk strategy
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt risk management practices accordingly
- Report directly to the board of directors or relevant risk oversight committees as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native/fluent in English (C1) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Risk Management or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certification in financial regulation or risk management (e.g. regulatory license risk certification)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a riskrelated role within a regulated financial services firm
- Previous experience in stocks will be considered an advantage
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks risk assessment methodologies and industry standards
- Proficient in using risk reporting tools and data analysis techniques
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
- Ability to clearly communicate complex risk issues to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
