Job Description

  • Location: you live close to Leuven at commutable distance to our office in Heverlee
  • Office/remote: we expect you to work from the office 34 days per week the rest can be done remotely. 80% can also be discussed.
  • Languages: English and Dutch is a must
  • Background: We are looking for a someone with 12 years of experience with payroll accounting or HR procedures. Recent graduates with relevant education are welcome to apply too. But if you have already worked in this field for many years we are still happy to meet you as the responsibilities can be expanded for a more experienced candidate.

What you will do: 

1. Invoicing and accounting in Odoo (our ERP system)

  • Issue sales invoices follow up on payments
  • Maintaining the companys financial records
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Report to Finance director

2. Payroll

  • Collecting calculating and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information and have efficient payroll processes
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
  • Provide management reporting on regular basis
  • Work in close cooperation with our payroll partner

3. General systems admin

  • Interface with our insurance agencies maintain the administrative requirements
  • Maintain administrative requirements for company cars and interface with the car leasing companies

4. General admin related to the foreign subsidiaries (UK France)


Qualifications :

Skills and competences

  • Ideally you have already some experience with payroll accounting or HR procedures. The rest we will teach you :)
  • Good and efficient organizer eye for detail
  • You love paperwork and is able to make paperflow more efficient automated and structured
  • Basic knowledge in accounting
  • No nonsense approach
  • Ability to work both independently with discretion integrity and professional attitude
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in Dutch good English
