About the Role
This role is part of a national team that focuses on three core areas: Reception Facilities and the administration side of Procurement. You will be working across all three areas contributing to the delivery of excellent customer service and operational support within Avants workspaces across the country.
Youll collaborate closely with the Facilities team to provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders and help ensure that Avants premises are safe comfortable functional and inspiring environments for staff visitors members and contractors.
Key responsibilities include providing Reception/Concierge coverage and Facilities administration duties to support the smooth daytoday operation of the office. Given the clientfacing nature of this role professional business attire is required at all times.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide friendly and efficient customer service to all stakeholders through timely written and verbal communication in response to facilities requests and queries.
Coordinate the provision of planned and reactive maintenance services including but not limited to air conditioning security lighting power plumbing and other facilities management services.
Manage assets and maintain a strong focus on WH&S for facilities operational infrastructure.
Ensure all contractors comply with WH&S requirements and hold valid Public Liability insurance.
Support fire warden training and other first response responsibilities.
Positively promote facilities managementrelated activities and ensure all tasks align with internal policies.
Continuously review and accurately document processes aiming for best practice and ongoing improvement.
Apply commercial acumen and procurement best practices when sourcing and managing external facilities service providers.
To Be Successful You Will Have:
