Merri Health is now Holstep Health a new chapter in delivering highquality healthcare to our communities.

Employment Type: Fulltime Permanent
Location: West Heidelberg
Team: Strategy and Advocacy

Your New Role:
As the Manager Strategy & Advocacy you will lead strategic initiatives advocacy business development and research evaluation and impact across Holstep Health. Working closely with leadership teams and external stakeholders you will drive inclusive forwardthinking strategies to support the implementation of Holstep Healths new strategic plan following the recent merger.

You will play a key role in defining success measures strengthening our business development function and identifying opportunities for impact and growth in alignment with the Boards first Strategic Plan launch in July 2025.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Leading strategic initiatives and business development to drive growth and impact
  • Developing and managing advocacy policy engagement and innovation aligned with our strategy
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
  • Overseeing research evaluation and impact frameworks to ensure quality and measurable outcomes
  • Providing people leadership across recruitment performance development and team culture
  • Championing OHS and continuous improvement
  • Supporting risk management and quality accreditation processes

What Youll Need to Succeed:

  • Demonstrated experience in strategy leadership including advocacy evaluation and business development
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders through shared decisionmaking and open communication
  • Existing connections with key stakeholders (e.g. hospitals community sector government)
  • Experience in the health notforprofit or government sectors with understanding of sector reform
  • Proven impact through strategic approaches to reform change codesign and community engagement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with senior staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Forwardthinking proactive leadership with experience leading through change
