Job Description

As a Conference and Events Sales Executive youll play a key role in crafting unforgettable event experiences guiding clients from their initial enquiry through to seamless postevent followup. With a sharp attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality youll bring clients visions to life ensuring each event exceeds expectations. From preparing customized quotes and proposals to leading inspiring site inspections youll take ownership of every stage. By collaborating with internal teams creating impactful event materials and nurturing strong client relationships youll deliver exceptional flawlessly executed events that leave a lasting impression.

Your daytoday will include:

  • Leading the coordination of conferences and events from confirmation to completion working closely with coordinators to ensure every detail is just right.
  • Preparing tailored quotes and proposals and following up to secure and confirm bookings.
  • Organising and hosting site inspections helping clients feel confident and inspired by our event spaces.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Sales on the creation of event collateral such as conference kits and promotional materials.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients through attentive communication and accurate recordkeeping in our events database.
  • Working crossfunctionally with departments across the hotel to ensure seamless planning and flawless event execution.

Qualifications :

Were looking for someone who:

  • Has prior experience in sales within the hospitality industry (preferred).
  • Holds a tertiary degree in hospitality management business or a related field (preferred).
  • Possesses strong client engagement skills with the ability to identify opportunities negotiate contracts and convert leads into successful events.
  • Communicates effectively with the confidence to present proposals and interact with clients at all stages.
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills to manage deadlines and event coordination seamlessly.
  • Pays meticulous attention to detail ensuring every quote contract and event preparation is accurate and precise.
