JOB SUMMARY
Are you curious outgoing and warm Pier One Sydney Harbour is looking for you someone with a passion for events attention to detail and more! As a Senior Events Manager you will be able to develop your skills while being motivated by the Sydney lifestyle surrounded by major Sydney icons. Position Summary:
Develop and implement event strategies to achieve propertys objectives whilst consistently analyzing market information
Responsible for managing the planning execution & coordination of all the hotels events internal functions and social events
Manage the departments event enquiries in an efficient and effective manner
Lead and manage all daytoday activities related to the events function
Work closely with the sales team to maximize all potential business leads
Fueled by our love of the hyperlocal be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area know it inside and out to exceed guest expectations
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests to create memorable moments and enable future bookings
Support the hotels service and relationship strategy driving customer loyalty delivering mindblowing services through each unique guest interaction
Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures and complete all required managerial tasks in a prompt & thorough manner.
Lead the Events team to provide quality service and exceed guest expectations
Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
Be a thoughtful and dynamic leader by providing motivation and support to the team
About You:
Relevant experience in a similar managerial role
