Job Description
- Oversee machining operations including CNC milling turning grinding and drilling.
- Plan daily production schedules based on order requirements and deadlines.
- Ensure smooth coordination between fabrication machine shop and assembly departments.
- Supervise machinists and technicians assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Provide training on machine operation safety procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain a disciplined efficient and goaloriented work environment.
- Ensure all machined components meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Work with the quality control team to minimize defects and rework.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Monitor machine health schedule maintenance and ensure minimal downtime.
- Enforce workplace safety regulations and best practices.
- Ensure proper usage of tools fixtures and measuring instruments.
- Track raw material and tooling availability coordinating with the purchase team as needed.
- Maintain records of production output machine utilization and maintenance logs.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports for management review.
