Job Description
Reports To: Building Administrator
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate preferred.
- Must hold a valid Michigan CTE teaching certificate or the ability to obtain an annual career authorization (requires 4000 hours of industry experience).
- Relevant industry experience includes but not limited to:police officer emergency dispatcher public safety officer.
Description:
- Provide high quality instruction that supports and aligns to the districts educational vision and mission.
- Facilitate an environment that fosters the learning of all students.
- Remain knowledgeable of educational standards and strategies to meet the academic developmental and social emotional needs of students.
- Assess and modify instructional practice leading toward increased student achievement.
- Utilize educational technology to support students instruction and learning.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with students peers parents and community.
- Schedule may be a combination of in person and virtual class sections.
