In the role of Collections Coordinator the top priority will be ensuring we are continuing to provide all of our customers with quality efficient customer service while focusing on timely remittance of payment processing of invoices and recovery of late payments. You will use intuitive research and persontoperson communication skills to contact debtors by phone email and standard mail and will assist in negotiating prompt payment for our services while negotiating repayment plans.
Previous experience in a collections role is highly helpful but those with a determined nature topnotch customer service skills attention to detail and thorough followup are encouraged to apply.
What are some of the additional expectations in this role
Referring calls/accounts to appropriate parties based on customer inquiries.
Identifying problem accounts and escalate as appropriate.
Updating the customer account record to identify actions taken on the account.
Working with our customer points of contact to secure payment on outstanding account balances.
Diligently trying various points of contact and means to collect upon overdue accounts
Providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude
Working with other team members and management in a professional manner

Job requirements
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a collections based role who is alsoa proactive communicator with exceptional customer service knowledge. To be successful in this role youll needto be focused results driven and a proven problem solver.
