Job Role: Deputy Manager Childrens Home
Location: Burton upon Trent
Salary 39000 DOE plus time and a third for overtime
Shifts & Sleep ins: 11 Sleeps per month
Service: Childrens Residential Care Home
Service Users: Young People age 6 to 17 Emotional Behaviour Disorder
Home Size: 3 Young People is Max occupancy
Reporting To: Registered Manager
Contract Type: Permanent / FullTime
Qualification Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care
Min Experience Required:at least 2 years experience relevant to residential care in the last 5 years

They specialize in supporting Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma neglect or abuse and may display challenging behaviours.

The main duties of this role include:
To lead the team to deliver highquality care to our young people
To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
To communicate effectively with the team regarding the plans for the day
To review the young peoples care plans and other associated documentation
To undertake an indepth quality and bespoke training package
To attend/chair staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model
Job Requirements:
To provide positive parenting
To have exceptional communication skills
To have sound working knowledge of current legislation e.g. Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 (including quality standards)
Essential Requirements:
Must have a full manual driving licence
Must be fully flexible and have the ability to work unsociable shift patterns
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
The desire to develop into a Registered Childrens Home Manager
