Loopio is looking for a chronically online bestie to join our Marketing team as a Social Media Manager. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Communications the Social Media Manager will be accountable for creating and executing our social media strategy and delivering measurable results across the customer lifecycle.

This is a highly collaborative role that will work alongside various teams including Marketing Customer Success Product Internal Comms Talent and our employee resource groups.

The Social Media Manager should be someone who thrives on moving fast taking smart risks and keeping our brand ahead of the curve. Someone who is tapped into culture and trends and can work closely with teams across the business to create bold timely content that sparks conversation drives engagement and builds brand affinity.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to elevate Loopios presence across key platforms (LinkedIn Instagram YouTube Facebook TikTok X Reddit etc.)

  • Collaborate with internal teams and employee resource groups to bring Loopios culture to life externally amplify initiatives and align social media efforts with broader business objectives.

  • Foster and manage external online communities adjacent to the Proposal Management community building authentic relationships brand advocacy and audience engagement.

  • Lead active engagement and community moderation including responding to inquiries participating in conversations managing sentiment and monitoring social trends and mentions.

  • Track analyze and report on social media KPIs (reach engagement traffic sentiment) to optimize strategies and demonstrate business impact.

  • Stay current on social media trends emerging platforms and digital culture identifying opportunities to participate in relevant cultural brand and trend moments.

  • Develop and implement socialfirst initiatives including realtime content creation video production and campaign execution to drive relevance and engagement.

  • Manage social media risks and crisis communication overseeing monitoring programs to identify issues early and partnering with crossfunctional teams for rapid response.

  • Create original highquality social content (posts videos communities thought leadership) that drives brand awareness audience growth and community interaction.

  • Set and deliver goals for audience development engagement and community growth leveraging data search trends and best practices to continually refine and expand social presence.

What Youll Bring to the Team

  • 5 years of proven success leading social media initiatives growing audiences and building engaged online communities in the B2B space.

  • Deep expertise across major social media platforms (LinkedIn Instagram Facebook X TikTok Reddit).

  • Indepth understanding of platform algorithms emerging content trends and hands on experience with social management tools (eg. Sprout Social)

  • Skilled at creating strategic plans that drive brand awareness increase engagement and strengthen brand position across social channels.

  • Ability to craft compelling content that lives rent free in an audiences heads while maintaining brand voice and tone.

  • Experience managing executive social profiles and developing internal advocacy strategies to amplify the brand across social channels.

  • Handsonexperience creating visually engaging content using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite and social editing platforms to support multiformat storytelling.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track KPIs measure performance and optimize strategies based on insights.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate crossdepartmentally adapt to changing priorities and work in highgrowth environments.

  • Open to and able to occasionally travel in North America to internal events community activations and industry conferences to create timely authentic social media content and deepen community relationships.

  • Loopio is a remotefirst workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. We are HQd in Canada with established hub regions around the world where we hire from.

  • Our employees (or Loopers as we call ourselves!) live and work in Canada (British Columbia and Ontario) London and India (specifically in Gujarat Maharashtra and Bengaluru).

  • The majority of our team is based in ON and BC which means these employees live and work remotely within a 300km radius of Toronto (within Ontario) and Vancouver (Within BC).

  • We offer flexible coworking locations available to Loopers in ON and BC. Those based in ON have the option of working out of our convenient coworking space located in the heart of Downtown Toronto and a 12minute walk from Union Station. BC Loopers have the option to work centrally in Vancouver. It is whatever works best for you!

  • Youll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK India and North America (were just a Zoom call and Slack message away!) with core sync hours and focus time for headsdown work during the workday
