Job Description
Job Title: Network Architect
Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Architect to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in designing implementing and maintaining complex network infrastructures. The Network Architect will be responsible for analyzing business requirements designing network solutions and ensuring the stability and security of our network.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements
Evaluate and recommend network technologies and products
Monitor and optimize network performance
Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions
Develop network documentation and standard operating procedures
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in network architecture
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
2 to 5 years of experience in network architecture and design
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP VLANs VPNs)
Experience with network security technologies (e.g. firewalls intrusion detection systems)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification is a plus
