Job Description
NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Network Solutions Architect
Details:
Network Infrastructure Architect
Location: Carlsbad CA (4 days onsite)
Duration: 6-12 months
Required:
- Proficient in triaging advanced system and network alerts across enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise network architecture data center ecosystems and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization and SDN platforms (e.g. VMware NSX).
- Advanced Linux and Windows administration with emphasis on network services security hardening and patching.
- Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP BGP OSPF) routing subnetting NAT and firewall configurations.
- Experience managing network hardware and appliances (Cisco Juniper Palo Alto F5 NetScaler).
- Skilled in performance tuning latency optimization capacity planning and network analytics.
- Strong automation skills using Python PowerShell Ansible or PowerCLI.
- Familiar with network security (VPNs ACLs IDS/IPS auditing SIEMs like Splunk or ELK).
- Able to identify and automate manual operational workloads through tooling and scripting.
- Comfortable with network monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds NetFlow Wireshark Nagios).
- Collaborative mindset with experience across network engineering DevOps and security teams.
- Proven ability to mentor junior/intermediate engineers and lead troubleshooting of complex multi-platform issues.
- Strong documentation habits organizational skills and ability to work across distributed teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and stakeholder audiences.
- Willing to travel up to 10%.
