Position Summary:

TECH is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee all daytoday operational aspects of the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO the COO will be instrumental in driving efficiency ensuring the delivery of exceptional services and mitigating potential risks to the individuals we support. The COO will provide strategic guidance and direct oversight to the programmatic leadership team fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement. This is a pivotal role requiring strong leadership operational expertise and a deep commitment to TECHs mission.


Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership and Management: Provide strategic and operational leadership across all residential and day service programs. Oversee the development and execution of operational plans that align with the organizations strategic goals and mission.
  • Leadership Team Oversight: Directly supervise and mentor the operational leadership team including program directors and other key operational personnel. Foster a collaborative and highperforming team environment.
  • System Design and Implementation: Design implement and continuously improve operational systems policies and procedures to ensure the consistent delivery of highquality personcentered services.
  • Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Develop and implement robust quality assurance frameworks and risk management strategies to proactively identify and mitigate potential negative outcomes for the individuals supported by TECH. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with the CFO and other relevant stakeholders to develop and manage operational budgets ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource allocation. Because TECH operates in an open book management culture the COO will help subordinates understand what drives financial results.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Assist in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement datadriven systems to monitor operational performance identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality enhancement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including individuals supported their families regulatory agencies and community partners.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team in the development and implementation of the organizations strategic plan. Provide operational insights and expertise to inform strategic decisionmaking.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all operations are conducted in full compliance with applicable federal state and local regulations as well as TECHs internal policies and procedures.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement effective crisis management protocols to address and resolve operational challenges and ensure the safety and wellbeing of individuals supported.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Administration Business Administration Social Services or a related discipline. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 710 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management preferably within the human services sector specifically supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing quality assurance and risk management systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team fostering a collaborative and resultsoriented work environment.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and best practices in the field of disability services.
  • Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Exceptional communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong analytical and datadriven decisionmaking abilities.
  • A genuine passion for the mission and values of TECH and a deep commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
