Job Description
Job Summary:
SPC Utilitys primarily responsible for inspecting packaging labeling and monitoring packaging and changeover finishing equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must operate Lift truck
- Be sure the count of material on the pallets is accurate
- Remove and replace pallets
- Enter Production
- Assist in startup and shutdown
- Back up to other operators in the line
- Assist in general cleanup and maintenance
- Responsible for personal safety and participating in the plant safety process
- Monitor the finishing line box forming packaging and palletizing process.
- Set up boxforming equipment for various sizes of boxes.
- Keep supply count
- Communicate defects and issues to appropriate manufacturing team members
- Assist with changeover
- Use a hoist/crane when necessary
- Inspect and sort offquality as needed
- Fix jams on the line
- Assist with the changeover of parts on the line
Expectations (if applicable):
- Lifting is required of tools and parts with varying weights of 20100 pounds.
- Standing and climbing on and off the lift truck is required.
- Bending is required to pick up parts and tools or do work multiple times a day.
- Occasionally required to climb balance and kneel.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- LTOcertified experience preferred
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Must be able to stand walk bend crouch or sit for long periods work in tight spaces lift and maneuver objects of 50 pounds
Other Requirements:
- Overtime is required on occasion.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
