We are looking for a Manager Business Development to hire coach and inspire our team of BDRs. Youll be joining a passionate group of peer sales leaders who are all striving to be masters of their craft.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fastgrowing company with a rapidly evolving team. You will have a direct impact on the growth of the Business Development organization and play a key role in the success of Loopio. You will oversee & support daily prospecting activities be a critical part of the hiring and onboarding process and play an active role in the ongoing training of the team. This is a key leadership role that works closely with the Sales Sales Management Marketing and our Operations teams to continue Loopios rapid growth.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Leading and coaching a team of Business Development Reps to consistently generate highquality outbound opportunities and drive pipeline growth

  • Playing an active handson role in the development of BDRs with a strong focus on improving qualification processes asking impactful business questions and increasing SQL to SAO conversion rates

  • Establishing and reinforcing a bestinclass outbound prospecting playbook ensuring creativity and datadriven approaches are at the core of our outreach strategy

  • Conducting regular 1on1s customized training sessions and collaborative call reviews to improve individual performance and develop a culture of continuous learning

  • Analyzing performance metrics to identify areas of improvement ensuring alignment with Sales and Marketing goals

  • Collaborating closely with Sales Leadership Marketing and the Revenue Operations team to strengthen crossfunctional communication and roll out strategic projects

  • Owning the hiring ramping and ongoing development of top talent to build a highperforming team

  • Partnering with Sales Enablement to refine onboarding programs and design impactful ongoing coaching initiatives

  • Fostering a culture of urgency accountability and growth within the team to ensure pipeline targets are consistently met

What Youll Bring to the Team

  • 2 years of Sales/Business Development management or teamlead experience preferably in SaaS

  • Proven experience prospecting in the enterprise space with a strong understanding of ABM strategies and how to execute targeted outbound campaigns.

  • A proven track record of exceeding team targets and driving performance improvements through handson coaching

  • Direct experience as a successful SDR/BDR giving you a unique ability to empathize with the team and provide actionable relevant coaching

  • Strong background in using CRM and Sales Automation tools (i.e. Salesforce and Outreach) to track performance and improve workflows

  • Experience in hiring ramping and retaining top talent with a focus on fostering growth and development

  • Ability to partner effectively with Sales Marketing and Operations to drive alignment on strategic projects and pipeline goals

Where Youll Work

  • We are currently only looking for candidates who reside in the Greater Toronto Area and can access our coworking space in Downtown Toronto for the occasional Sales Team gettogether.

  • Loopio is a remotefirst workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. We are HQd in Canada with established hub regions around the world where we hire from.

  • Our employees (or Loopers as we call ourselves!) live and work in Canada (British Columbia and Ontario) London and India (specifically in Gujarat Maharashtra and Bengaluru).

  • The majority of our team is based in ON and BC which means these employees live and work remotely within a 300km radius of Toronto (within Ontario) and Vancouver (Within BC).

  • We offer flexible coworking locations available to Loopers in ON and BC. Those based in ON have the option of working out of our convenient coworking space located in the heart of Downtown Toronto and a 12minute walk from Union Station. BC Loopers have the option to work centrally in Vancouver. It is whatever works best for you!

  • Youll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK India and North America (were just a Zoom call and Slack message away!) with core sync hours and focus time for headsdown work during the workday
