About the Role
Joining our Supported Independent living team in Riverwood on a permanent part time basis you will support 4 people who are looking for candidates who are empathetic communicate clearly (bonus if you can speak any Russian!) enjoy going out into the community with them (particularly to shop at the reject shop) talking about trains watching police related TV shows and have an interest in Aboriginal culture and history.
To provide best support you will be enthusiastic about providing active support and being involved in their day to day activities and have experience in or be willing and confident to be trained in 2:1 manual handling meal management processes stoma care epilepsy management and midazolam training and AUSLAN/Sign Language.
The successful candidate must be able to commit to the following set roster of 34 hours per fortnight:

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
