About the Role

Reporting to the National Parts Manager the position is responsible for operational direction and supervision of the NPDC Warehouse Team. This role combines parts warehousing and transport knowledge with strong organisation planning and leadership skills to ensure efficient service delivery customer satisfaction and team performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise TMHAs national parts warehouse operations and effectively lead NPDC warehouse team of up to 8 members to
    ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with operational demands.
    Maintain and monitor safe working practices and procedures for all NPDC parts functions ensuring
    compliance with TMHA WHSE policies and procedures and that all tasks are carried out in a safe manner
    within the NPDC.
    Prepare Shipments for arrival and control the receipt processing and despatch of all goods through national
    parts warehouse operations in a timely manner ensuring priority is placed on high demand items to best
    support TMHA branch network.
    Schedule and implement annual cycle count of inventory in the NPDC ensuring compliance with TMHA
    stocktake Procedures.
    Ensure that key NPDC KPIs are met within required timeframe and daytoday operational issues are
    addressed in a timely manner.
    Update the NPDC shipment report on a weekly basis as well as the NPDC monthly operational KPI report.
    Ensure warehouse staff have adequate equipment (including consumable items) and training to undertake
    daily tasks effectively & safely.
    Effectively manage external contractors as required to support warehouse operations and compliance.
    Manage monthly safety actions in accordance with predetermined TMHA KPIs and WHS standards
    including completion of monthly warehouses safety inspection toolbox talks regular safety observation
    conversations hazard I.D and incident reporting to maintain a zeroharm culture in the warehouse
    operation.
    Ensure MHE & other warehouse plant and equipment is maintained tested and/or inspected within
    required maintenance parameters.
    Maintain equipment and training updates within Aspire and Skytrust identifying upcoming requirements
    and communicating effectively with the NPDC team.
    Ensure all inbound and outgoing freight and transport movements are in accordance with Chain of
    responsibility (COR) guidelines inspections are completed and required documentation is accurately
    completed and filed daily.
    Communicate regularly with TMHA branch network with regard to transport or parts related enquiries

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Customer Focus (both internal and external).
    Strong organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
    Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    5 years experience within a similar parts/warehouse operation is preferred but not essential
    Has proven experience in leading an operations team within a warehouse environment is preferred but not
    essential
    Safety Focused Thorough understanding of WHS principles and practices with proven practical experience
    and knowledge.
    Transport Chain of Responsibility Training (COR) knowledge
    Attention to detail and strong administration skills
    Forklift Licence and ability to operate warehouse machinery including Hi reach forklift and an order picker LF
    & LO
    Internal Advertisement February 2025
    Sound computer knowledge i.e. Word excel and
    PowerPoint.
    Exposure to warehousing and warehouse storage systems within a medium to large facility
    Working at heights license is preferred but not essential
